Tuesday August 19th 7 p.m. : Bishop Shand hosts a meeting at St. Luke's to reflect on the Lambeth Conference.
Sunday August 24th 9 am: (St. Andrew's) & 11 am (ST. Luke's): Blessing of the Backpacks. Students bring your backpack for a school year blessing and bring school supplies to donate.
Sunday September 7th 9 am: joint service for both parishes at St. Andrew's to present Life-time Service Awards.
Saturday September 13th 9 am to 3 pm: Stewardship workshop at Christ Church, Kent Island
Sunday October 5th 9 am Blessing of the Animals, St. Andrew's.
Sunday October 19th, 11 am: St. Luke's Day with special 17th Century service, tours of the Cemetery and Church, special guests and light refreshments.
VESTRY: The Vestry of St. Lukes and St. Andrew's meets on the 2nd Monday of each month at 7:30 pm. The location of the meeting alternates between St. Lukes (Church Hill) and St. Andrews (Sudlersville). All confirmed members of the congregations are welcome to attend and speak; only elected members of the Vestry may vote.
Breakfast Schedule: the men of St. Lukes and St. Andrew's invite all to share breakfast at St. Luke's prior to services on the last Sunday of each month. Eggs, pancakes, bacon, sausage, toast, etc. are served. Individuals moved to make a free will offering may do so.
